The TK EPoS Shop Server can be
used in situations where there are multiple tills in a retail
outlet are required. The server manages transactions in real-time
to the shop server via CAT 5 cabling or wireless LAN connection.
Stock levels are maintained centrally to provide all tills
with the capability to check stock availability in real-time.
If configured as part of a retail network the TK EPoS Shop
Server will comunicate directly to the central system periodically
to perform the folowing functions.
- Update sales figures ad stock levels
- Pick up incoming stock arrivals (pre-book in)
- Request re-stocking for low stock items
- Pick up new promotions
- Pick up internet orders to be fulfilled at retail outlet
